Welcome to the Ride AwarePost Test Training Scheme. Launched in 2009 by UK Motorcycle Training Ltd, The Ride Aware Scheme is an intensive Post Test Training course designed to raise the awareness of UK Motorcyclists.

Safe riders are made, not born. Organisations like UK Motorcycle Training Ltd and the Ride Aware Scheme exist to turn inexperienced and vulnerable motorcyclists into skilled and thinking riders who can safely enjoy the freedom and sheer pleasure of life on two wheels.

Motorcycle accidents have somewhat different characteristics to accidents involving other classes of road user. In particular, they include ‘right of way’ accidents, accidents involving loss of control on bends, and accidents caused by motorcyclists using the more frequent overtaking and passing opportunities that this choice of transport affords them.
